Came here on a Thursday afternoon and had a easy time getting a seat immediately! Good: So many options here - I ended up getting the egg and tomato dish and really liked it. The soup could have a bit more flavor in it but it was a really good balance and wasn’t spicy at all. The handmade noodles are great - just chewy enough and tasty. Bad: The place does have a longer wait time so you should expect to wait a little to get your food. It’s also pretty packed inside. Overall I enjoyed the food and liked that there was a lot of things on the menu so will come back to try more.
Taiwanese beef noodle soup restaurant. Love their porkchop fried rice but the drink is not so much. The noodle soup is too lights for my taste. Was asking for white pepper, this is what they gave me in photo.
Taiwanese friend recommended this place to me, seems be a popular franchise back in Taiwan Ordered the 麻辣蒜味牛肉麵 with hand made noodles, and for the most part it was good. The broth was clean and flavorful, but it wasn't as aromatic or spicy as to justify labeling itself as 麻辣。 Maybe this is the adaptation of 麻辣 in Taiwan after the rationing period? I'm from 湖南,so it just didn't hit me as hard as I'd hope, but I can't deny that it was comforting and tasty. The hand made noodles are definitely preferable to machine made as they tend to be a bit more QQ. My friend did note that her meat's seasoning didn't quite permeate as much as her first time here, so there may be a bit of inconsistency. Still, seems like a clean and relatively tasty noodle shop. Not my first pick, but no qualms if I'm in the area and it's convenient enough
