Little Dipper Shabu Shabu

First time trying tonight on a weeknight with a friend. It was only half capacity even at 8pm. My mala broth could have been spicier but overall acceptable taste. Meat quality on the Kobe and Angus beef seemed better than Seapot's. Wish there was a larger selection of Chinese veggies. Unlimited refill on fountain drinks. Parking was a breeze in the parking lot.

Little Dipper recent opened a location in Cupertino and eating here was a wonderful experience! They are an all you can eat taiwanese style hotpot restaurant with great portions and a wide variety of items. I especially loved the Kobe beef, fish roe balls, and Chinese donuts. I don't know any other hot pot restaurants that have the Chinese donuts! I think this place is still quite under the radar so there aren't long wait times. It is quite pricey but most places have gone up in price anyway due to the pandemic, inflation, and etc. The service is great and the restaurant owner is super friendly. I highly recommend this place to all hot pot lovers.

Came here with a friend to try this new place. I guess it's not that new.. even though the "grand opening" sign is still up, it's already open for 6 months! Anyway, we came at 5:30, half an hour after it opened, and it was pretty much completely empty. We were a little skeptical since we weren't sure how fresh the ingredients would be if there weren't a lot of customers. It turned out ok though even though the place never filled up. I ordered the spicy soup base, and we tried a lot of different side dishes. I never feel like I get my money's worth in all-you-can-eat places, but this place has pretty good selection and service so I was ok with it. The meat quality was good, and all the side dishes were fresh. The server also told us we could order half a dish of something if we wanted to try it (and we were getting full). It was a very good experience altogether! Will definitely come back again sometime, hopefully they'll have more customers and can stay in business!
