The Habit Burger Grill

I first has this amazing chicken sandwich in San Luis Obispo two weeks ago, and finally found one here in Cupertino CA. It IS the grilling for sure, it puts in the best flavor, and topped with teriyaki sauce, american cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo. I DID add barbecue sauce as well. I love a messy sandwich. The chicken is SO moist and tender, well, I just love it. They are famous for their burgers, which I will try next, and my daughter LOVED the chocolate milkshake.

I used to frequent this place because decent fast food burgers are hard to come by in this area. However, my most recent experience indicates they struggle to keep up with the lunch crowd. No one is announcing orders, so folks are all bunched up around the pickup counter trying to decipher the receipts. I waited a while myself but gave up around the hour mark. I could clearly see walk-ins 30 minutes after I placed my order getting cooked immediately. So... I don't know what was wrong this time. It's certainly not worth an hour+ wait for a burger (I still haven't gotten a ready notification!). I'm leaving 3 stars for an overall positive past experience, but this place could use some improvement. Edit: 6 hours later, and I never even got an order ready notification. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Who knows if they ever even got the order through their system. The charge is on my card, though, so... I'm not too happy. Edit 2: 5 days after responding to them and I *still* haven't heard back? No refund, either.

Good burger spot, it's like a upscale burger king that is alot better. Hence the char-grilled term they use. Lots of menu items, good variety of choices. It is made to order so it can take a bit to get your food. Prices are fair to good deal, portions are fair and taste is good. Inside seating isn't the greatest but there is outside patio with tables and chairs.
