Bourbon House

Delicious food. Ordered the lobster claw appetizer, fried seafood sampler. So yummy. Best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable. The drinks were good, and strong. I highly recommend.

Short walk from the hotel to Bourbon House Walked in and was greeted by host and immediately went to the bar area. They also had an oyster area right next to the bar separated by a pillar. We arrived in the afternoon and didn’t have much of a wait. I came because I had been told to try the froze bourbon drink and to make sure to get an extra shot in it. The drink is very good and sweet. Don’t know how to describe it other than it taste like a bourbon milkshake. Now, I typically can’t do milk but I drank this and didn’t have any problems during or afterwards. Now, I can’t say how the food tasted but they have a listing of all the Bourbon and a bar that is stacked. You won’t be disappointed.

Went to New Orleans to celebrate a few birthdays and this was the location of the official dinner night. We tried the alligator wings. Very different taste not like chicken. You'll just have to try it to understand. The red fish with potatoes was so delicious,I wish I would have ordered it but I got the white fish. It was good but need much more seasoning. The other two guest with me, liked there meals but were not thrilled by them. The drinks were lip smacking good and I tried all the dessert and the bread pudding was my fav. I will eat here again,this is actually my second time eating at this establishment. All of the waiters and host were so kind and did a great job. Thank you
