The place is unassuming but inviting. My party of 3 ordered many items to share and all of them were great. Especially loved the crab cakes.

The experience here was terrible to say the least. I arrived with a group of coworkers and immediately was met with an odd bathroom type smell (it definitely wasn’t the oysters that were being opened). We were seated in an opposite area of the restaurant (the decor gives cafeteria) and began to order. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a side of gumbo (only because I didn’t trust anything else there). Neither option was worth eating or buying! A few people at our table was unhappy with their meals and one even sent hers back opting not to eat. The service from the waiter was subpar as well. Based off the reviews you would think this place was the bomb! Overall, it was a lackluster experience and I’d recommend people to head elsewhere. *Also added pics of coworkers’ food*

Popular spot, so I'd get there ahead of time because of the wait. It's worth it! The pasta and oysters are delicious & filling. Oddly enough, I tried a small piece of fried alligator for the first time and it was pretty decent. My friends devoured that and the seafood gumbo. The chicken sandwich was basic but a good, safe option, so I would recommend it, as well. My friends took some tequila shots before we headed out to explore more of Bourbon street!
