Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The smoothie was perfect. The wrap was less than what I expected. Apparently the wraps are heat pressed. Pretty misleading because that's not what is pictured on the menu. And when you press a wrap with lettuce and tomato and sauce it because soup. So rather than a fresh crunchy wrap I had a warm drippy wrap with mushy lettuce. It didn't taste terrible but it wasn't worth 8 dollars that's for sure. It also took a really long time to get my order. I probably won't go back. The sweet potatoes were cold and disgusting.

I normally don't leave a bad review unless I have had consistently bad experiences, but this was super disappointing and looking at other reviews, I am not the only one who feels this way. I ordered an Island Greens Detox smoothie, and it was barely even blended. I couldn't drink it through a straw because of the large chunks of ice and ginger. My favorite thing on the menu is the veggie hummus wrap. Normally this wrap comes cut in half down the center. They cut this thing lengthwise from corner to corner and didn't even cut it all the way through, so when I got home, I had to cut it again myself just to eat it. The "lettuce" on it was actually just a handful of center stalks (no leaf). My side of kale apple slaw was barely enough for one bite and only had one measley apple sliver in it. *Smh* I don't plan to ever visit this location again and honestly should have called for a refund. If you can make the drive to the one in Yukon, I recommend you do it. Never a bad experience there.
