The Lokal Mustang

First time here and everyone was excited that the owners opened one in Mustang! The Fried Deviled Eggs are a specialty I'm told and they were absolutely delicious!!! The food is great, the atmosphere fun, and the service is hit or miss. We have ordered appetizers every time and only one time did the waiter notice we didn't have plates or silverware to eat with and I'm not sure what the normal time frame is for eating dinner, however we have had to flag someone down to request our check. Perhaps these are all growing pains associated with a new restaurant opening and it won't stop me from coming.

We were so very excited to finally try the Lokal Mustang. So glad we did! We will be back! Karston was so amazing. The hostess was thorough in explaining the specials. We ordered the Okie Sampler to split. Best Mozzarella sticks I've had in years, pickle fries were yum, and the fried deviled eggs were phenomenal. I really enjoyed my Chicken Fried Steak, kiddo's chicken fried chicken sandwich was enormous and tasted so fresh, hubby had the blackened catfish, while it wasn't his favorite, he ate it all. Ready to try more!

Moved from Louisiana to Oklahoma city a few weeks ago. Thought I would miss Louisiana food. 4 weeks later and okc and surrounding area restaurants don't disappoint. Fried deviled eggs !!
