My favorite dish at Italian restaurants is eggplant parmesan. Oregano's doesn't have it. I also like a fried calimari appetizer. Oregano's does have that, but it's not particularly good. The marinara sauce is good, though. I had a turkey and veggies sandwich. The bread and the veggies were good. The turkey, not so good. My grandson liked his meal. The venue is nice.
I'm Italian and I can say that it is not original Italian food, but the food is really great, I tried the pizza and the pasta and both of them were delicious. For me, the best part was the atmosphere that brings you in the Italy of the past! I will totally go back there.
Our server was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the Diablo Shrimp pasta, it was delicious. Big portion size. Definitely took home for later. The Mango margarita was on point too!!
