Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

We arrived 1 hr before closing. They had all the food available. The tortilla and chips were cook as we order. We dine in and never felt rush. Great service.

We usually love the Cafe Rio brand, we’ve had it in multiple states and have generally good experiences. The queen creek location is garbage. The rice is so undercooked I feel like it ruins my whole meal. I also have noticed behind the counter is usually a hot mess of ingredients everywhere. The redeeming quality is the cashiers are ALWAYS so friendly and helpful.

Ate lunch at the QC Cafe Rio today. It was clean and the food was great. What topped it off was a young man (didn’t get his name) working there walked out when the rush slowed down and asked every customer in the restaurant how there meal was, if he could do anything for each Customer, and thanked us all for coming in. I’ve ate at many Cafe Rio locations and have never had someone come out and ask me how things were. Yes, I went and talked to the manager and left that young man a generous tip for going the extra mile.
