Oak & Rye

Oak & Rye has the best wood-fired pizza I have found. The thin crust has the perfect amount of char and their flavors are unique and delicious. My perfect meal here is splitting a Commissioner Gordon pizza, the shaved Brussels sprouts salad and charred broccolini, and a Negroni

Customer service was lackluster and brutish from the start; I felt uncomfortable but would be willing to overlook that if the food was on point. There were three of us and we had reservations for 7. The ambiance was bland and uninviting. When we were brought to our table, my chair was dirty and I had to wipe stuff off of it. One person in my party ordered a cocktail and when they delivered it to the table they spilled some on the table and didn't apologize or wipe it off. One of us ordered the burger. It was small, the bun was flat, and the meat was dry. There was no lettuce or tomato or onion on it as promised on the menu. In-N-Out makes a much better burger. It came with small potatoes and I tried one and they had no seasoning or flavor. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and there was hardly any pepperoni. The sauce had no salt, pepper, garlic, onion, or herbs; all necessary for a robust sauce. The dough was limp and soggy and I couldn't hold it. Domino's makes a much better pizza for hal

I’ve been here once before. My second visit was less pleasant than the first. Host had trouble working the Apple Pay processing so he took an attitude with me. I then used the physical card instead. Merchants before and after this place were able to process Apple Pay with no problem. They also failed to greet me. Ended just as badly as it started. Maybe they’re smokers… ????????
