We arrived early at the restaurant at 5:30PM. We got a table outside right away. They lighted up 2 heat lamps for us. It was nice during the cold Fall nights. This restaurant has an extensive South and Southeast Asia food menu. Food and portion was good for what one will pay. Currently one can bring own wine without a corkage fee! Service can be slow at times since this is a family business. Just be patient. Do pay attention street signs where you plan to park. Some side streets require permits after 5PM. If our friends didn’t pay attention and got a $52 ticket.
We wanted to try a new Thai restaurant so we tried Golden Triangle Cuisine and we had a great experience. First we sat outside for lunch but after we started to enjoy the delicious Tom Yum soup flies started to appear and then one dove into our soup! Yuk! So we continued indoors, they gave us another bowl of soup. Which was great but im not sure if they just removed the fly or gave us a new serving. Ha ha anyway, we didn't touch it. My wife tried the prawns with bamboo shoots in chili paste and I had the Pad Thai with prawns. We really enjoyed our choices. I especially like the smaller noodles used in my dish compared to the wider noodles. We will definitely be returning to eat inside.
A true pity we're just driving through the area, I'd love to try more of their menu. Colorful inside decor with very comfortable seats, and the hostess was extremely lovely. I ordered the ginger & wood-ear mushroom fiery wok with fried tofu. It was wonderfully aromatic, and the amount of ginger was invigorating and refreshing without being overpowering. ????????
