We have been here several times and they never disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful and everyone is extremely friendly. The waitstaff is completely on top of everything. They made my daughter feel special for her birthday by having her name on top of the menu. They know what you want before you even have a chance to ask. As amazing as their entrees and appetizers are, their desserts are out of this world. They have the most delicious gluten free options. Even the GF cakes are moist and delicious. You would never know they’re GF.
The fried oysters are amazing but the butternut squash was one of the best things I have ever had. Entrees we’re good as well but next time I am doing apps only. Pole cider mousse was out of this world, not to sweet, you will have to try it.
While staying at the Jefferson Hotel, we ate here one night. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they gave us a nice menu commemorating the occasion (pictured). Service was efficient and professional from start to finish. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the butternut squash risotto and I the crab cake starter. The steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavored (pictured). The cocktails were well mixed, the wine list extensive and varied and we enjoyed our choice. First rate meal in a wonderful setting. We will return when next we are in Richmond.
