Parterre Restaurant

My friends and I were looking for a quick bite to eat after our photoshoot, and our 1st choice had a 45 min wait. We Googled brunch and Parterre popped up. This will be our new little spot in RVA. Unassuming and out-of-the-way, you would miss it if you weren't looking. The peach and ginger sangria was TO DIE FOR!!! OMG... I should have ordered an entire pitcher for the table, it was that delicious. I got the chorizo egg scramble w/goat cheese instead of the white cheddar. Cooked to perfection! I prefered the potatoes to be on the side instead of under the eggs, but it wasn't a deal breaker to how much we loved this place. Everyone at the table loved their meal selection and we will definitely be back again. The atmosphere was light and carefree and our server was so sweet and pleasant. Next time you're looking for a quiet, relaxed place for brunch, I highly recommend Parterre.

This may be a small restaurant located on the ground floor of the Linden Row Inn, but it's great! It is independently owned, and not affiliated with the Inn, but it blends seamlessly with the place. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu has something for everyone. The bar is stocked well, and offers seasonal mixes. They have inside seating, bar seating, and cozy outdoor seating in the garden patio area of the Inn. Eat-in, curbside, and to-go options are available. The place is wonderfully convenient to guests staying at the Inn. Be sure to try their Brussels sprouts - they are amazing!!
