KJ Korean Tofu and BBQ

Happy to have our own Korean tofu in South Pasadena. We tried their tofu and Jap Chae on our first visit. Both are good enough that I wouldn't drive to K town instead. Portion size is good. Very clean dining room. Menu goes beyond just tofu and BBQ. This place is more of your typical Korean eatery. Has all of the usual suspects on the menu: Neng Myun, rice cake, seafood pancake, etc.

So delicious and great friendly service! Really generous servings and super tasty food. I love spicy food but when I asked for the spicy kimchi tofu stew the owner was like are you sure? I recommend getting the normal and not asking for extra spicy ???????? Really delicious and large portion of the galbitang too. My wife can't stop talking about this spot and how good the galbitang was and now all other places are compared to the bar set here. We will definitely be going back when we are in town to this little gem!

Food was ok. Pretty average tofu soup. But the service… omg it was way too slow. I had to call server 2 times to get just a cup of water. It took forever to receive it. Also, i received my soup after around 10min after i got my rice which i could half finish my rice before the soup. When i was ready to pay i was waiting for the servers to come and they never came. Not even noticing us. I was almost dancing waving my hand but still not coming. All their attention is take out order not the ppl sitting in the hall lol. It was pretty hilarious when server asking me everything is ok when not a single order came except basic side dish.
