Cafe X2O, South Pasadena

It's just okay BECAUSE I've had much better & considerably larger portions for similar prices in the Glendale area. The portions are quite skimpy for the price, and most places I go to give garlic paste as a condiment, instead of making you choose it as your side. The kebabs/ lule are juicy, but don't have that open-grill/flame taste like traditional Armenian or middle eastern preparation style. The sides are a complete joke in my honest opinion. You get maybe 4 forkfuls of salad, and not much of a spread to use. Not much pita bread either. The boreg is good, but has more of an empanada thicker dough, than the lighter flaky style I'm accustomed to from bakeries. Overall, the flavors are decent, but the portions are too small for the price being asked

This is a new branch. Soft opening. Perfect distance to JPL. Food came out hot and fresh! The boregs were also served very hot! Yummy. We looked the sandwiches so much we ordered 4 more to go. We got there place to ourselves and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Must try!

I don’t like food from this location the chicken is dry, salad tastes funky, hummus is okay but nothing like their location in Monrovia. Now that location has some YUM FOOD! Or if you’re in Pasadena go to Mediterranean Cafe on Shoppers Lane, go once and you’ll be going back for more.
