Gulp Restaurant & Brew Co

Great items on their $7 happy hour deals in addition to the rest of the menu. Solid rotation of beers as well. Not too big of a place so crowded enough to where you didn't have to talk loud to be heard.

Location was awesome. Was really excited to try this place. Food was decent. Fatty steak, asked for no Pico and got extra Pico instead. Waitress seemed preoccupied, overheard her having a harsh discussion with a male coworker. We asked about sides, she didn't offer anything but salad then was just short with everything we asked like we were bothering her. We get our food and she never comes back to check on us. No refills, no second drinks in general. We then see her telling her coworkers she loves them and walks out and leaves. We sat over 15 minutes waiting for someone to bring the check. No one ever asked how our food was or if we wanted another drink. I don't live in the area so I won't be back but I was really hoping to leave an awesome review. Hopefully someone else has a better experience and hopefully that server was just having a bad day.

***NOT A BREW PUB OR BREWERY*** Putting "Brew Co" and "Brew Pub" as part of the name implies that this place brews beer. It DOES NOT brew beer, or even have any contract brewed beer under its own label. I'd estimate half of the beer menu is macro brew owned "micros" (Kona, Golden Road, Elysian, Bells, etc). For a place that advertises it's "unique tap list", I was severely disappointed in the selection and the fact that the server brought out a second beer menu after I had ordered. Atmosphere was fine, beer was a bit pricey ($8-$9 for a pint), and service was friendly enough. Overall very average, but two stars and would not return on principle for the misleading business name.
