Eighteen-76

HORRIBLE service. Employees spend more time chatting among themselves than serving customers. Waited 20 minutes for a drink... Heard "almost out" three times before I finally just left. Waitress on 3/12/2019 needs to find a new line of work. She was unaware, unconcerned, no urgency, unorganized, and again, spent more time chatting/joking with employees than serving customers.

Let's begin with "service", it was awful from the very beginning. One server plus bartender, the server was responsible for guest not at the bar, I counted about 25 or so mixed tables seating from 2-8 people each. Grossly understaffed, it took 15 mins for server to wipe off the table, another 15 minutes to take my drink order of double Woodford Reserve neat. I ordered the Budweiser chili, joke on me. The chili was cold, no taste, the portion size was maybe a cup. I told my server the chili is cold, her response was, I was afraid you were going to say that. Well, it took another 20 minutes to get the same bowl of chili back. Very disappointed in quality of food, professional customer service. I would not recommend this establishment.

Reading the other reviews, people either love or hate Eighteen-76. Put me down in the love-it group. Yes the place is on the smaller size, but the service was great (and that during a busy noon-hour). The turkey club and chips were fresh and tasty. (The price compares well to other airport bar-and-food joints.) My draft Goose Island IPA arrived in a nice large clean glass with a smile from the server. Great place for a drink and a bite between flights.
