This place has gone downhill since pre Covid. My husband and I visit Gainesville alot and this use to be the Chinese place to go for decent food. They had all you could eat buffet, but no longer offer it. After speaking with the owner, they will never offer all you can eat buffet, again. This is one of the many reasons why we were repeat customers. After visiting recently the food was awful, the worst Chinese I have eaten. My husband also made the same comment. They have lost our business due to the above issues. It was so bad tasting that neither of us have wanted Chinese food so soon. Such a shame to see a decent eatery go down hill. I hope they raise their standards soon. The place only had one other patron eating and only one other patron came in for take out, while we where there this day. When normally the place would be busy.

Not usually a fan of Chinese buffets, as the quality is less than meals-to-order; however, China Wok's set-up is above average from other buffet-only establishments. The only knocks would be that some items are randomly missing on some days and the sizes of meat pieces in many dishes are too large. Still best bet for buffet earing, though.
