I’m highly disappointed in the service I received. I am/was a frequent customer until today. They really tried to upcharge my meal an extra 4.00 just for adding extra onions in my fried rice and asking for my sauce on my wings to be placed on the side instead of on the wings- basically don’t get greedy my friends bc that is petty. But you did not deduct from the cost of my rice bc I didn’t want the peas and carrots in my rice- bottom line, while inflation is impacting everyone, being petty will not get your business very far.

This is the Chinese spot you should try if you’re looking for a good one. I’ve ordered several times in the past few weeks and the food has consistently been good. Their egg rolls are amazing. They put some kind of seasoning on the cabbage that makes it pop with flavor. I’ve never tasted an egg roll like that. Their egg rolls don’t compare to the others around. This place is worth a try. And try their egg rolls.

7/17/22 Update: This place has taken a turn for the worse. While the food is still delicious, this evening I ordered a $10 menu item that had basically no meat in it, very disappointing. They even charged me $3 this time for a sauce that has always been included with the order. I've been coming here for years, and it seems like they have a price hike around every 3 months. The menu pricing is never correct, it's always more when you order. They even charge a couple of bucks extra if you use a card. I understand the price of gas and shipping is hurting everyone right now, but this is not something that's new with China Star. They've essentially nickel and dimed their way out of a customer here. 2 stars because they are still nice, and the food is tasty.
