I’ve never had a bad experience with Jacks!!! Both locations are delicious!! The Mac n cheese is homemade! Tonight we had the croaker and pork chops, Mac n cheese, candied yams, mustard greens, and hush puppies. They were all very delicious, as usual.
Consistency is one of the hallmarks of a restaurant that brings me back. I love the flavors Jacks delivers in their food. I also appreciate getting their spin on healthy when I ask for it. They give me turkey wings that are baked or roasted without gravy, for example. Turnip greens cooked with turkey meat instead of pork or ham and without a lack of flavor to my meal. The beef ribs are also trimmed of fat and offer an occasional treat that's fantastic.
They have quite a few good options and portion sizes are great. The staff has always been super nice too. Gotta love service with a smile!
