Coming in around mid-afternoon on a Sunday, we were starving. We decided to visit a place we haven’t been to in a long time. We settled on Bubba’s after driving around for a little bit. The host sat us down promptly even with the place being pretty busy. We were sat in the normal dining area and it was pretty peaceful for 2:30 PM. The server was attentive and did very well at making sure to check in at our table. My wife started it out with a wildcard and decided to get a drink - the 18oz. Mango Frozen Margarita - lines with sugar. The flavor was very sweet but definitely matched the profile of the drink. We ended up ordering a half order of onion rings and mozzarella sticks to start. The mozzarella sticks showcased a great “cheese pull” that I definitely wasn’t expecting. The taste was pretty good as well with the marinara sauce being served warm. Always a nice touch to have warm marinara sauce with mozzarella sticks. The onion rings came out piping hot and ready to be dipped in their

The food was well made. The garlic knots were very soft and had great flavor, my fav part of the meal. Fried pickles were good but were thin so they hardly had any pickle flavor. The bubbas sauce was good, had a umami sweetness to it. My salmon had good flavor but was not as moist as I would have wished. Steamed broccoli was tender, steamed well. Garlic mashed potatoes and gravy were smooth and had good gravy, would get it again. The biggest turn off was the noise level. We almost had to shout to hear across the table. The service was good. Would go back.

Food: 4/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Decor: 5/5 Spinach dip is below average as far as dips go in the industry. Smokey and over sour creamed, not enough salt and actual spinach. It’s more like eating sauce with condiments. The chicken wings were delicious. Cajun dry rub on half and garlic Parmesan on the other. Crispy outside with juicy meat on the inside. The side of French fires pairs perfectly with the ranch dressing, which is phenomenal by the way. The Stromboli was, for the most part, lovely. It’s meats were cooked well and seasoned pleasantly. The dough and marinara complemented each other well, it wasn’t over saturated and wet. Nice blend of cheese and herbs. Noting that these are cooked in stone slabs, the bottom was slightly burnt on over half the Stromboli. The waitress and manager happily made up for it by comping me for half the price, as I enjoyed all of the rest (they offered to replace, but I declined)! The drinks y’all. Such a wide variety and so good. The drinks are good
