While this place is a chain, this location is nothing but. Jerimiah will make you the best Bloody Mary you’ve ever had. Kenny will make your gut hurt with his jokes. Meghan is always attentive and will make sure your drink if full with a kind smile. Joe and Logan will make you feel welcome, and Jordan (brand new server) did an amazing job making sure our order was perfect. Great mix of family friendly with a good ole’ local bar feel.
Honestly, I Expected Better. I've Been To The Rock Bottom On The 16th Street Mall & They Set The Bar HIGH. I Ordered The "Ribeye" Medium Rare With The Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Mac N Cheese (Pictured) Well, The Steak Wasn't Cooked To My Order. They Over-Cooked It. Was One Of The Thinnest Ribeyes I'd Ever Seen & There Was No Marbling To It. Just Sad. The Mashed Potatoes Were Good But Pretty Cold. Same For The Mac. My Hubby Ordered The Cajun Fish Tacos (Pictured) & Waffle Fries. The Tacos Were Good, Could've Used More Sauce, Less Lettuce, & More Fish. They Were Just Portioned Incorrectly. & Of Course, The Fries Weren't Hot Either. The Best Thing We Enjoyed Were The Drinks. I Don't Know, Maybe It Was An Off Wednesday Afternoon & There Was Something Going On With The Expo (Person Who Checks Your Food Before It Leaves The Kitchen) But I'm Hoping They Get It Together, Especially With Those Prices.
Does everything have hot sauce in it? Went with a group at lunch and we ordered Deviled eggs, hot wings, and spinach dip to start. The wings were fine, the dip pretty good but the deviled eggs…had hot sauce in the yolk. I know there is debate about sweet vs savory deviled eggs, but the hot sauce was just weird no matter which side of the debate you fall on. Outside of the sauce oddity, they were super bland. Bacon did nothing to save it. Then our entrees came out and the hot sauce sunk into my Chicken Fried Chicken via the batter. It was so weird to have a vinegary batter smothered in cream gravy. I don’t know if my other tablemates found sneaky hot sauce in their dishes, but everyone agreed that for the cost, this was medium to mediocre fare.
