Bread Alley

Oh 10/10 sourdough baguette for $5. Would go back and will be making excuses to get over to Union Market area for this bread. They also had seasoned/flavored butters to buy, as well as larger loaves. Smells like heaven, no frills, good quality. Follow the mural and ring the doorbell. :)

This place is really amazing, absolutely worth the morning track to grab a fresh baguette or a loaf of sourdough. I have tried many bakeries and baking at home, but this definitely ranks in the very top, up there, alongside some of New York’s finest. They also make a great challah on Fridays. Sadly, they don’t make pastries over the weekends anymore (although I was told they may come back).

They have pastries on the weekends, and they have a selection of fancy butter that you have to try. Worried that you might not finish the entire loaf?
