94th Aero Squadron Restaurant

This place has been here forever and occupies a spectacular historic building located in a prime area… but the building itself has proven to be it’s major flaw… although very a cool venue, it’s dilapidated and smells musty and is too costly to remediate. The food is very good, and the ambiance is amazing. They will be closing in June of 2023, but stay tuned for them to reopen in a different venue sometime in the future.

It was a cold and blustery night, and the warm light in the window welcomed us in. It truest is like stepping back in time-the pieces depicting the WWI and WWII times are so realistic, one can imagine sliding up to a fireplace after the chill of the countryside. We scored a fireside table. It was dark and could only imagine watching planes take off and land with better light. The service was friendly and professional, and the delivery of the sizzling steak was just that-visually sizzling! Great place to come for a quiet dinner. The background music was nice and appropriate. We commented that the dining room reminded us of the Inn from “White Christmas”. Very old school

For one of the higher end restaurant weeks $35 I didn't think it was worth it. Thought it was weird they weren't doing there regular menu as well. Food 2/5 service 4/5 decor/atmosphere 3/5. Would i go back? Sure maybe this menu wasn't their best work Dine in: Yes … More
