The atmosphere was nice and the owner Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful! The butter chicken and lamb was amazing esp with the garlic naan. However cheese naan and aloo naan werent the best.

I love dinner at Zaroka. The food is always delicious and cooked to order. My favorite is the tandoori chicken. It is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Having been in New Haven for a couple of months and tried many Indian restaurants, I can safely say that Zaroka is the best I have visited by far. Everything my family and I ate this evening was delicious - fresh, tasty, cooked with pride and passion. It was also interesting to see that the non-Indian meals on the menu (my mother had a delicious Indo-Chinese noodle dish) were up to a similar level of deliciousness and authenticity. Finally, it was a pleasure to chat with the owner, Mahesh, who was a gracious and enthusiastic host. A wonderful evening!
