Harvest Wine Bar & Restaurant

The food was pretty decent, the steak with chimichurri sauce was good and I did enjoy the mac and cheese, it was good, however I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the mash potatoes was bland and the spinach has no salt or pepper. But all and all it's was good. Just good (my opinion), everyone has their own. As far as presentation it looked delicious. Although I wasn't that impressed once I started eating(again my opinion). The restaurant itself was nice, it was warm and inviting.

Was truly looking forward to visiting this location, went early on a Saturday night with another couple prior to going to a show at Westville. Service was excellent, drinks were good, but the kitchen totally sucked. And their lack of effort to make it right was disheartening! Had to leave the restaurant with not having eaten anything! And then to not even respond to an email sent to their posted address…this place does not care about your dining experience…they care about your cash! Plenty of other good choices in New Haven.

My son and I had dinner at Harvest, and every part of the experience was fantastic. We chose to sit at the bar. We really liked the decor/atmosphere. The bartender was incredible - friendly and helpful in every way from food to drink choices. We had charred octopus and mussels to start. Then I had a linguini dish and he went for a mixed seafood entree. The cocktails were delicious. I really liked the Flirtini.
