Zapata's Mexican Grill

Had a decent meal but we ended up on the patio with a large group and several rowdy squealing children. Their screeches we're so loud we jumped in our seats. Staff allowed this without anything said to the parents. I have four children, so I love kids, and I know they can't sit still and be quiet. But there is a limit, and our comfort was completely ignored. When we left the children were climbing over the empty seats and walking on the window sills. If you want this kind of noise, be my guest. We will look elsewhere.

Was there 2 weeks ago. We got there an hour and half before they close and was pretty much shunned by the staff. They had already started closing up.and cleaning. Waited 35 minutes for the food and it under cooked. Sent it back, didn't get the dish back another 20 minutes. No one offered to refill our drinks so we asked to meal off the tab and was told no...finally after insisted that it comes off the bill and they keep they now burnt dish.. Sorry I'm happy this establishment at all..they have gone down hill.over the years

Changed to 3 stars for service only. Ordered a frozen margarita that wasn't frozen. Here's a tip...if you don't put it in a hot glass it won't melt as fast! This used to be our go to for Mexican food. Presentation wasn't good, chimichanga was dry, ground beef was bland, no flavor, the beans were nasty and so was the rice. Shrimp tacos were delicious! Chips and salsa is as well. Guacamole was just ok. Fast friendly service!
