I was served food brown stew chicken..it was hard I had to go back inside to get a diffrent type ( curry) rice was bland..guy stated to me you saying what youre saying and Im saying what Im saying as I told him the brow stew chicken stated old he proceeded to say it was just cooked it was fried hard blah blah..ill never come back here its rude to almost argue with a customer..if you didnt know this..never again
The jerk chicken was semi-dry, not as spicy as I would have liked for jerk. The beans in the rice were not fully cooked, beans almost raw. They were crunchy, not soft. The cabbage was not cooked through. Cabbage was like it was cut off the head and plated, hard and crunchy. Had to cook the cabbage in a pot at home because the cabbage was too hard, like cabbage salad, not desirable. The only thing that was tasty was the plantain, only get two per plate, and in the other plate was the oxtails. The oxtails were good and the beans and rice was a bit uncooked but not as bad as the jerk chicken plate. Overall, this is a step down from the restaurant I visited a few years ago in 2017. The food is bearable but not desirable. I will probably not go back. Thank you for reading my review.
5 stars for taste... Oxtails, gravy, peas and rice were delicious! Lots of bones with some meat. I was shocked when I got home and saw the price of these little 12oz. drinks were $20.00
