Yu's Mandarin Restaurant

Update. Yu's got a new employee. Her name is BellaBot. She brings your food right to your table. Food came out in a timely manner. The Sesame Chicken was Great. Will be going back again.

Was the 1st time I'd been to Yu's since before Covid. It has always been stellar, but this visit left me feeling that maybe things have slipped a bit. Our server was not very personable for one. And the food itself was missing that specialness that I felt it had before. On a minor note, the robot that now brings your food seems a little sterile & impersonal too. I will probably give them another try sometime, but I'm hoping it will be like the Yu's I remember next time.

We came here for my mother-in-law's birthday! I was really disappointed with the food, especially the "peking" duck! The pieces were cut really thick and the pancakes we're just a plain flour tortilla (taste like store brought)! We ordered cold beef shank (pieces sliced too thick), Sweet and sour pork, noodle platter (didn't have too much seafood, more veggies), stir fried crab with ginger and onions (this had a lot of flavor), Mongolian beef (beef was too dry), stir fried green beans ( the best dish, had a lot of flavor and it was crunchy), snowpea tips (not very tender) and the beef with wide noodles (needed more flavor)! It took awhile before getting all our food and when we got it, the food was luke warm. Maybe the have a new staff of chefs, before the pandemic, as I remembered, everything we're much better!
