This place has been on my list of “things to try” in my Yelp collection for a long time now. I was in the area so I decided to stop in. Why not, I’ve been craving ramen for a few days. There's about a million options available on the menu so it can get a little overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong. I was actually happy to see that they had so much to offer. First things first, that delicious Pork Chashu Yebisuya Bun!!! It was so amazing and tasty that I got another one. It did not make it past a minute. I’m thinking of going back just to get another. I also got a half chasu don. Which I basically rice and pork chasu with an egg on top. It was delicious too. Different for me because I usually never eat uncooked egg so the texture was weird at first but the flavor was so wonderful, I’d definitely recommend. Now down to the ramen. I am a ramen connoisseur okay. I love it so much, however I was not impressed by this one. Which is so sad because I was so looking forward to ramen this
We went here for dinner on Wednesday. The restaurant itself is very nice with a lot of fun decorations. The servers were kind and attentive. We ordered a premium Tonkotsu, Kimchi Tonkotsu, and grilled whole squid. The ramen was very good and their portion size was very generous. The only thing we did not like was the fact that the squid appeared to be either boiled or steamed, not grilled as described on the menu.
I went around 5:30 pm there weren't a lot of people there. The atmosphere was nice, clean tables, good decor, and clean restrooms. The waitress was attentive and service was fast. The food is good for the price. Next time, I will ask if I can have spicy Katsudon. Update: good atmosphere, came for the summer menu soba noodles. The taste was good and the tempura was crispy!
