Wünderbar Euro Bistro

Table service was slow and a good number of menu items were unavailable. Upside was the Berliner White was very good, the schnitzel was awesome, and there was live music! We will come back and try again... and see if there's a third time or not. After all, anyone can have an off day.

I wanted to like this restaurant. We were pleased with our server even though they were understaffed. Bar was slow to fill orders which was complicated by their policy that beer must be finisher before another could be ordered. One of our party ordered tea and got several refills and was charged $2.50 each, even when the menu stated refills were free. I suspect waitress reimbursed us from her tips. If you go to this restaurant ask for a copy of your bill before paying.

Loved the concept of this place but didn't measure up. Went earlier today for lunch. Waitress was great and working hard, especially concerning they seemed understaffed. Food was good (which is why 2 stars). Paid with handheld credit card machine at table and got printed receipt after charge when requested. At that point noticed we were charged for 4 teas $10 (only one person ordered a tea). Spoke to waitress and she stated it was because of refills so we pointed out on the menu where it said free refills. She seemed surprised and stated they always charged... been open since March last year. Seems like lack of training on management's part or a deceptive practice by management (especially considering you don't get a itemized bill up front). Fine for charging for refills but don't state on your menu that they are free if they are not. Waitress went to manager to fix the charge and the next thing we saw was the waitress pull money out of her apron. It appeared she had to pay it back to
