I wandered in after a rainy July morning and had the tastiest veggie plate for $9. I haven’t had cabbage this good since grandma’s house!
Good food, nice workers and historical building. The Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite, but the candied yams had a lot of flavor, the fried okra was crispy, the chicken had good seasoning and the food was hot. We came during rush hour and had to wait awhile for our food, but definitely worth the wait. Small interior with not many places to sit and eat. Overall It definitely hit the spot and worth going too.
EXTREMELY DELICOUS FOOD! Small place, big taste! Meatloaf, out of this world. Pork chop is a most. Coleslaw salad is great.
