This restaurant has an amazing location, good atmosphere, great service, but I wasn't impressed with the main dishes for this cost. The Old Fashioned was not made to the standards of a fine dining restaurant. Please do not use Quicktrip style ice and put whole pieces of fruit in the glass. It tasted like sweet ice tea. If I wanted this style of drink I would go to a bowling alley. Walk down to Phryme and sit at the bar and order an OF. You are an amazing name in Tulsa and you can do better. My money is better spent a few block away at 5 different restaurants within walking distance. 4 stars ONLY because of the service, atmosphere, location, and everything else that was done right with the bread, cocktails, and appetizers.
We were so excited to find a restaurant, with such a large menu, only to be disappointed when we were finally able to get in. The menu had shrunk, considerably. We had planned to eat a meal, but it was cost prohibitive. We ended up sharing an appetizer of escargot, that was delicious! Two salads, one with scallops, two small desserts, & water. The bill was over $100. We are hoping to be able to enjoy a meal there, one day, soon. I would highly recommend picking this restaurant…but plan to save for it…and make reservations! We didn’t, and had to wait 2 wks to celebrate my birthday.????
I went here for the first time yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday and we will be back. I ordered the trout and is was delicious. It was buttery and melted in my mouth. The cocktail I wanted was not on the menu and the bartender was still able to make it perfectly for me. Our waiter Tom was phenomenal. He was very kind and informed us of the specials and other items on the menu. The inside of the restaurant adds to the overall ambience. This is an absolute gem in downtown Tulsa!
