Waffle House

I wish that I could give this ghetto place a negative star rating. My order was not only wrong, and but also looked like dog food. When I returned it the waitress then proceeded me to ask me what was wrong she then proceeded to tell me that it was not wrong and said it just had extra ingredients and egg yolks instead of egg whites. News flash if it is any different than what I asked for it’s wrong. She then rolled her eyes and said no problem and began talking to another waitress saying It’s not wrong it’s just extra stuff so remake it and so t forget the chili cause she made a deal about the chili not being on there. She then proceeded to mock me to other staff members and remade my order and it was still incorrect. Upon sitting down I noticed that the restaurant was filthy. There were mildew towels and leaks over the floor the low bar tables were dirty. The floor needed to be mopped and there were flies. No one had on gloves or masks. Order tossed. This was the best Waffle House that I have ever been to. The food was amazing, but the workers (Joe,Chris,and Tweet) were even greater. I ordered food to go, but I was enjoying their company so much that I actually dined in. The dining area was clean, the staff was super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful...and more importantly, they all worked together as a team. There was no criticism, no silence, no sad faces...just a team of people that seemed to work so well together that you would assume that they have known each other forever. Whenever I visit the Dallas area again,this will be the only waffle house that I will dine at. Hopefully, I can catch the same team. They were amazing!

Took them forever to see what I wanted. They also spot clean the table I was at instead of cleaning the entire service. They lack professionalism. The employees aren’t cleaning table very fast as people leave they wait till new people walk in to clean them or the plates are just seating there way to long. The conversation between co-workers aren’t appropriate and unprofessional. There are to many cooks in the kitchen (lots of people and not enough work). And I always tip but they do not deserve my money here first and last time I’m here. The food is fine how can they mess up on simple breakfast food. Vegetarian options: Hash browns, eggs, toast, and waffles.
