Waffle House

Ordered a medium rare t- bone steak pay $14. Hard to cut and hard to chew. The steak sauce was not good. I ordered onions and mushrooms on top and that did not help the tuffness of the steak. If anyone wonders why they don't answer the phone it's because they don't pick it up. I was sitting near the phone and it was ringing off the hook they just walk by it.

3 employees standing outside huddled around a car. One came to greet us and go in with us. She was smoking. Smoked all the way to the door and then stubbed her cigarette out on the metal frame right next to the door and then wiped it off. She at least washed her hands but it was all still kind of unappetizing. Once we entered we were walking towards a booth and she said it was to-go only. Needless to say we left. We were there at about 5:30 - 5:45. Not sure why it was to-go only but at that point I really didn't care either.

My boyfriend and I stoped in yesterday, September 30th at 130pm. Only one other customer who walked in before us. 6 workers. No one greeted us or acknowledged us at all. We waited 5 minutes and left. The other customer who walked in right before us was greeted and order taken not only that the staff was chatting up with the other customer an older black man. I know racism when I experience it. If my bf and I were black we would have been served. Bc we are both light skinned Hispanics we were ignored and left.
