Waffle House

We got there and the place was packed on Sunday morning. We went in and we were greeted by Katrina and we took a seat. There were people still coming to the door and Katrina did a great job greeting. She said it would be about a 10-minute wait although every seat was full. It didn't take too long before we got a table. Once we sat down our server was a very sweet young man. He greeted us with appropriate greetings and he brought everything to the table that we needed with no hesitations. I really felt some type of hospitality. We had a great breakfast and a great start to our Sunday morning. The thing that really made me want to go here is I always remember they have good grits. And the grits did not disappoint again they were spot-on with cheese and butter and they were so yummy. Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of kids and small children and they were welcomed. The service was great. The location was easy to find. Plenty of parking. The food was just so-so. I had a combo with eggs, toast, sausage, grits and a waffle. A good portion for the price, but only the grits impressed me. The waffle wasn't bad, just nothing to write home about. Worth it if you're on a budget, but otherwise keep looking.
