This place pleasantly surprised me considering how small it looks from the outside. The service was excellent. My waitress had a name tag that said BEER. At the end of my meal, I had to ask if that was her real name. She was so nice in sharing the story behind the BEER name and her father and telling me her REAL name. Our conversation about our names and nicknames was fun. I ordered the calamari. It came so lightly battered with a thin sweet dipping sauce. Unlike other places, I appreciated the light batter as opposed to a heavy batter. I also ordered the crispy pork belly with broccoli. I was expecting thicker pieces of pork belly. The pieces were thin sliced similar to a strip of bacon. The pork belly was so tender and just enough crunch/crisp on the outside. I believe the crispness had become a bit soggy from soaking up the sauce of the dish. The pork belly and broccoli was just the right portion size.
