Tommy Tamale Market & Cafe

My husband and I had a great dinner here. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the tamale pie and my husband ordered a tamale plate. The food was great. The queso has a good kick to it as well. Will be returning as well as ordering tamales for the holidays.

Online ordering was convenient and they accept Google Pay. Order was ready when I reached the restaurant and the pick up was a breeze. As I got to my car, an employee ran over with part of my order that was in a second bag. After reaching home I found that the order missed the salsa that I paid extra for. Well, a few misses from an order fulfillment standpoint. I will give this aspect only 2 stars. Lesson learnt to check the order before leaving. Now the food. The Tommy bowl with the habanero pork tamale and beef tamale was out of the world. This will be my go to place for a tasty bowl. The frozen tamales come with heating instructions and I'm yet to try them. The menu has other interesting options and I can't wait to try them. The restaurant has been on my bookmark for a while now and I'm glad I finally tried it. Pricing : Moderate Will I return : Oh yeah! But I will check my to-go order ;) Rating : 5 stars for the food. Took away 1 star for the missed salsa that was paid.

The kitchen service was very fast and convenient. The menu was very easy to read. The crew members were very friendly, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The business was very clean. The food was accurate, hot and delicious. The tamales were a bit small, about 2 fingers wide but were moist and delicious. The cheese and chili sauces were tasty. It was a very good experience. I will return.
