The lobby was pretty gross to look at. The ceiling had a bunch of condensation. My best guess it that it was grease condensation. The atmosphere was also pretty unkempt. The man was pretty nice. He greeted and smiled at us. But the lady that was there wasn't as kind. It felt like she wanted us gone asap. The food felt pretty bland. The rice bowl wasn't too bad but the yakisoba was to be desired. Especially at the price point that it has. I don't think that I would return. I have plenty of friends who do enjoy this place though. Maybe I just got unlucky?
September 2021: first impression is that this is a little run down. I don't want to judge. The pandemic has been harsh on all businesses. We are 18 months in now at the time if the review. They have a wide variety of food on the menu. From boba to pho soup to Vietnamese dishes to Chinese dishes to sushi ????. I ordered Thai tea with regular boba. I asked for it blended, they did it gladly. The flavor was not to my liking. Just tasted like syrup. I order Thai tea boba all the time and I can recognize when it is a good one.
Customer service was horrible. Girl at the counter was extremely rude. I ordered a taro smoothie tea and got the one pictured. The boba seemed old and mushy. Was not firm. I had come here another time and it was wonderful. However the fried rice was delish. Although we counted six shrimp in the dish. Two drinks and the fried rice was 18 bucks and some change.
