Todd Brian's Brick Street Cafe & Tavern

Had reservations for 20 on a Wednesday. They were set-up when we arrived and had 3 dedicated servers for our large group. The service was exceptional and the food was fabulous. I ordered the cast iron chicken with okra and loaded mashed potatoes and a lemon drop funtini. All meals came with a salad. Plenty of food, but not crazy large portions. The catfish and chicken fried steak portions were huge! The kids meals were delivered first and drink refills were provided without requesting. Great place, efficient and kind staff with fab food. We will be back!

My friend and I went here for dinner. The server was attentive for the most part and very friendly. Both of our entrees came with a house salad with poppyseed dressing that was delicious! The muffins were two different kinds: angel food & jalapeño cornbread. We weren't a fan of either, but they seem to change daily. The chicken tenders were amazing! I enjoyed the sweet corn and the french fries; however, the roast beef tasted and smelled like a fish market. It was disgusting. The waitress took the dish away and removed it from the cheque, but I was surprised a manager never came over to speak to us about it. Definitely recommend the chicken tenders, but avoid the roast beef at all costs!

Hopefully this was a one off experience, but it looks like others have had similar experience. May depend on staff. Unfortunately our experience will make it a challenge to recommend without giving them another chance that won't be happening anytime soon. My partner arrived at 7pm and was ignored by staff for a minimum of 35min, not even a hello. After they finally took the order it was around 8pm. It then took another hour + to get the food. Then after getting home the order were messed up. Mashed potatoes were supposed to be loaded, no gravy for the chicken fried steak and we requested extra ????, no ranch for the wings or chicken strips. Now as far a food and taste, the tavern burger has potential. However, I could only find a quarter worth of a bacon strip, making it kind of misleading. McDon
