Sabor Latin Bar & Grille

10/10 recommend! I’m creole and I’m from Louisiana…. WE DO FOOD! I was NOT disappointed. I opted to getting the churrasco steak and I added the honey glaze chipotle shrimp. The tangy flavor from the chimichurri went so well with the tomato chipotle sauce. (Which I requested) the chipotle mash were great. I did try their green chili Mac and cheese which I did not like. The flavors were bland, and fell short of its potential. For the appetizer, I got the mussels and chorizo. Super great! It’s combined with a tomato sauce or thin gravy. The sauce wasn’t too acidic, with some hints of spice. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door, and promptly showed to a table that I found most suitable. I will be returning while I’m working in the area!

So, so good it hurts that we are just passing through and won’t be back any time soon! Great service and the food was really on point. Churrasco steak and adobe pork were excellent. Wish I was a local!

I was with a party of about 24 people. The waitstaff was excellent at keeping everyone's orders and bills straight, especially with so many of us paying individual tabs. And they checked back in with us a decent amount to check for refills, ect. I had the Chipolte Honey Shrimp dinner. It comes with shrimp on skewers, kind of a slaw of chopped veggies, and I had the Chipolte Mashed Potatoes as the side. I'm not a fan of spicy food, (the meal was not spicy) so I asked the waitress which of the sauces would be mild. She recommended the mango sauce for the shrimp. The mango sauce was okay, a little watery, though it has bits of veggies or fruit on top. The shrimp was good. But the mashed potatoes were the star of the plate, just excellent. I saved most of my mashed potatoes for last, to savor them. I also tried the Red Sangria drink, it was very good. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely stop in again.
