A neighborhood diner located in the city of Avondale,AZ .Nikki made our first time dining experience at TJ’s a good one. She was friendly and made us laugh with her beautiful personality. Wait time to be seated was about 30 min to get seated. Wait time to receive our food was about 40-45 min. They are low in staff including cooks so it is a reasonable wait time. The food was worth the wait. I’m sure if the restaurant was fully staffed it would be a much great experience.

My friend and I cam here for breakfast on August 18, 2022. Food and service was good as always. They have reduced their menu since before covid. After we paid we were there at the booth chatting and a cockroach was on the table. At first we thought it was a fly but no it was a roach. I managed to kill it with the bottom of the ketchup bottle, see picture. I told the waitress who was very apologetic. We asked to speak to the Manger or owner but the owner was receiving a food order in the back, so she told us to wait. We patiently we were then she came back and said the owner was on a phone call and took my name and number and said the owner would be calling. The owner never called. This place used to be so good to come to before covid and now it seems it is going downhill. Sadly, I no longer recommend this restaurant and will not be returning due to this experience.
