Carolina's Mexican Food Avondale

First time here after wanting to try it out for years, because I live in Avondale. Customer service was not good. Staff was just standing around, socializing, and looking miserable by the cash register. Once you order, you feel rushed and as if you're bothering their social hour or something. Table we chose was dirty so we chose another and it was still dirty. Surprisingly, since there was staff standing around by cash register with no customers in sight. It was not a busy time when we went in. Worst of all, the enchiladas were plain with lettuce on the side soaked up by the red sauce and soggy. The cheese in the enchiladas was not melted and the tortilla was not fried well. The food was cold overall. The only decent item was the hard shell taco, even though it was cold. Other menu items might be good but just the experience overall with cold food, staff and cleanliness of this location will not have us returning or recommending.

I am surprised this place still has a 4 star rating. Honest rating should be 2 or max 3 stars. The food is nothing special here and borderlines bad. I think a lot of it is just reheated from the previous days or weeks. The place is generally unkept and some areas are unclean. Employees don't care and they just want to get you to order and get out.

Looking to clog your arteries and have a stomach ache all day stop on in and if you want to get service with a bad attitude make sure you ask for Angela H. First off Angela H. And I can only assume the h stands for horrible service . I showed her how the grease was pouring out of our burritos and she didn't care . I asked for a couple of tortillas to remake the burrito myself and drain the grease she said " is this our first time here ??? " I said no! then she responded with a smart azz remark saying "well then you should know you will have to pay for tortillas" super bad cuntamer service . Wow
