Small portions for the price. Two tacos were ten dollars, but you get a very small amount of chicken. Ended up moving chicken to a single taco shell. Asked employee about portion size and was told that’s all you get. Not great customer service and very poor value. At five dollars a taco you expect a decent portion of meat. Overall the chain has gone down hill with high prices and lower quality offerings.
I’ve been to Tijuana flats many times. Primarily the Clark road location. This time I went to the location on 41 and I can honestly say it is not at all worth your time or money. The food is considerably smaller than the same item at other locations and is incredibly bland. Even the chips are not seasoned. For 22 dollars for a burrito and some beans and rice I should be flooded with flavor not tempted to dump my tray in the trash. I will mention the staff is incredibly friendly and has a great attitude, very pleasant to be around. The staff is the only reason I gave them Two stars instead of one.
I ordered online, but my car battery died when I went to go get it. I called and spoke to the store manager to let her know I would not be able to come pick it up. She was so kind, she asked me where I was and personally delivered it to me. It really made my day, thank you for that!
