The Wine Thief Bistro & Specialty Wines

This place is amazing. The food is very good, the menu is continually updating with specials and the staff is excellent. Ok, the wine selection and quality is the certainly the best in the area. The Wine Theif is also very active in the community. Bryan & Mari-Beth The wine Thief has really upped their game! The seafood pasta and scallops over risotto was so incredible I went back twice last week. The menu and their wine selections keep getting better. There staff is always so very courteous and knowledgeable. Just like a fine wine…. Wine theif gets better with time!

We try to wait at least three visits before we post a review and we love this place. Initially recommended by a family member we had to visit. We are creatures of habit and once we find a place we like, we make it part of our routine. The Wine Thief checks all the boxes we look for - great staff (Kelly and Nick have been great along with others), one of the best wine lists we have seen since Tin Fish in Tinley closed, great shrimp and polenta (among other dishes), and really good wine and mixed drinks. By the way, you have to try the Burrata and the house made soups!!!!! We were surprised how much is made in-house when most others order through general food services. Hands down a regular stop for us now.

Such a great place! I love their patio!! One of the best charcuterie boards around!! Service is always friendly and prompt! Definitely a must if you haven't been here!
