First time there... I saw some good reviews, so I thought I would give them a try. I had the pork taco, grilled chicken taco and steak & chicken fajitas. The rice is dry with no flavor. The food is under seasoned. The fajitas are very dry. The salsa is great. The drinks are very small for $11. I had the margarita it came in a very small glass that was smaller than the salsa dish. It was ok for a first visit, but not worth driving past all the other mexican restaurants just to patronize this one.
Good food and a friendly staff. There was a lot to choose from on the menu and it was formatted in a way that made trying lots of stuff easy and affordable. Like you can mix and match different tamales and tacos. And even though I had a Sprite there were a lot of drink options. A lot. Overall it was a great experience and I'd certainly go back.
I would highly recommend Fat Rosie's but call ahead and reserve a table. We went on a Thursday night at 7:30 and it was packed. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is tight but fun. Service was fantastic even with the big crowd. There is a parking lot across the street and quite a bit of street parking. Vegetarian options: They have a decent number of options. Kid-friendliness: Depends on what time you go but you could bring kids here. I don't think there is a kids menu though. Parking: Free lot across the street and free street parking too. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible but with all the tables it can be tight to navigate if it's busy. Dietary restrictions: There are vegan and gluten free options
