The Wexford Irish Pub & Grille

Found this place a week or so ago, I must say that this food here is out of this world. My favorite is the fish and chips, I am a food critic and have eaten all over and this is close to the best ive had!!!! I love how the fries are made in house and taste like it too

Beware if you look younger and are from out of state. The bartender working on Saturday night (09/09/2023) does not know how to properly read a NJ driver's license. My girlfriend, some friends, and I wanted to grab some drinks and hang out for a little bit after a late dinner. Wexford's was nearby and we wanted to check the place out since we had never been before. When we entered we were courteously greeted by the bartender, everything was going smoothly. After ordering drinks, we were asked to produce identification (as expected). When the bartender got to my out-of-state girlfriend's ID, she refused it claiming it was fake. The bartender then started to be rude and rather defensive/aggressive towards our group. My girlfriend was willing to produce a secondary and third form of identification but that is when the individual behind the bar threatened with calling the police. I’ve been here a few time for live music on the patio bar area and I have not been disappointed. Big John behind the bar is gives all burly bartenders a good name. He kills it with the crowd and keeping everyone at the table well hydrated. Place is a relaxing environment for drinks and a good time. Highly recommend.
