The Waterfront Grill @ Pier 32 Marina - San Diego

Fantastic brunch spot. Wife had fish and chips and let me sample, 11/10 best fish I've ever had, but the ratio of fish to chips was a bit off, she only got three battered fish and a mountain of fries. I had the French dip, which was also very good, and was quite a large sandwich. We both had garlic parmesan fries, they were her absolute favorite, I thought they were very good, but not amazing. The atmosphere is very good, we unfortunately came on a cloudy day. They have heaters in their outdoor seating that work very well. Would have been a really nice view with better weather. I feel the price was very fair, especially for how good the food was. We spent about $55 on our meals and a Mimosa that my wife loved.

Waited about 90 minutes before I complained about not getting my food. They were busy when I got there but those people had left and I started to notice people that ordered after me getting their food. I was given an excuse that didn't make any sense, then waited another 10 minutes. I complained again and was lied to again. If there was a mistake made, just own it! Don't lie to me. After another 5 minutes my salad, sandwich and onion rings came out. This stuff can be made in 10 min max. Still missing my wings. Guy comes out to make sure everything is ok. Let him know wings are still missing. They come out shortly. I think what made me the most irritated is the employees lying to me about what happened. Maybe a manager of some sort needs to be available or at least deal with the heat. Other than that, it's a nice place on the water.

Fresh ocean air. Tranquility, relaxation ...just by being by the ocean. I felt like I was vacationing ❤️
