If you have been waiting on a place that will give you an awesome plate of home cooked food in the Apex area, you have found it! I had the turkey bbq and mom had the fried flounder with greens, potato salad, and slaw. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection and all the sides seasoned well. All of it was great to include the customer service! Can't wait to go back!
So glad I stumbled upon your restaurant. Some of the best trout I've ever had. The hush puppies did anything but keep me quiet. They were DELICIOUS! A little upset I missed out on the Mac and cheese, but I'm coming back to try it for sure.
We had decided to try The Fish House Eatery for lunch, but ordered the Flounder dinner and the Shrimp with 2 sides. We ordered the mac and cheese, pinto beans, green beans and yams as our sides. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The service was quick and the food was hot. The serve Pepsi products and tea. (It does matter to some folks.) The restaurant is fairly small and non-descript, but the food more than makes up for décor. This was our first visit but it won't be our last - The Fish House Eatery is easily the best seafood restaurant in Wake County.
