Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Ate lunch today. And like several other businesses they are suffering from lack of staff to help. But the staff that was working were doing all they could. Sign on the door that reads staff shortage so you can’t complain if you have to wait. Food I received was very good even though it took a little longer to get. My appreciation to the staff for keeping a great attitude and working hard to do what they can to keep things moving. Give it a try but be patient ????

The Apex location has always been reliable for us, we can trust we'll get great food, good prices, and friendly, efficient service. We've always been fans of their Burgers, Cheesesteaks, Onion Rings, and Shakes. But my favorite is the Shrimp Po Boy! Give it a try.

I usually don't have unpleasant experiences but this one was horrible. I drove 30 minutes to only get disappointed. The cook can't cook. The waiter didn't know the menu. He couldn't help me so I was kind of on my own. When I asked about a certain burger he failed to tell me that it had chilly on it which was a no no in this place. I asked for a cup of coffee the waiter said ok. When he returned he told me that there was none and indicated that they weren't making any more. The waiter couldn't even tell me what kind of salad dressing they had, he said that he wasn't sure but would bring me something. Why didn't I just leave this places? Because it was kind of late and we just wanted to eat something quick. I asked if they could make a burger to go for my daughter, the cook hollered at the waiter in a loud voice, where everyone could hear him, NO!
